I have owned a Pet Stop® fence at my own home for many years. I also recommend it to all of my clients as it is the best way to keep your pets safely in your yard. John B. Violette, DVM - Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital
Great services and quality product. Never a problem, our dogs have all stayed in the yard ever since the installation. We love Pet Stop.Brett
The Pet Stop fence has been great for us. We live on a number of acres alongside a busy road. The fence gives us peace of mind and freedom for our dog. It also keeps our dog from following wild life off the property. Our daughter’s dogs were trained also and that makes visits worry-free. We’re very pleased with the system and the help we’ve been given, as we’ve needed it. Linda
I can say that I’ve always been satisfied with Pet Stop of Connecticut. I was certain that I had one of those dogs who could not be trained to stay in our yard. His favorite hobby used to be bolting from the house to chase after anything that moved. Fortunately, Phil has proven me wrong, and my dog Ralphie has been safe in my yard for six years now. My husband is certain that were it not for our Pet Stop Fence, our little dog would have met an unfortunate end by now. I am also very happy to say that Phil stands by what he sells – coming by our house when needed to make sure Ralphie’s system is working properly to keep him safe and sound. Finally, I should say that Ralphie, who is a very good judge of character, loves Phil. While I always used to think he must keep liver in his pockets or something, I am now sure it is because he can sense Phil’s real love for the animals that he works with. Mary Lou
In late July, a huge male bear came into our yard, right in front of my two dogs, Moose and Mattie, and myself. I found myself not even 15 feet from the bear. Needless to say, the dogs went wild and started biting at the bear’s feet. I was so afraid that they were going to get hurt. They chased him across our 2½ acres toward the road. The chase was now on and I thought for sure they were going to cross the underground fence and that I would lose my dogs. I was totally shocked when they stopped right at the fence and did not cross it. The Pet Fence Systems is the best thing we could have done when we got two big dogs. It has helped us all in so many ways. I am convinced, and on this day I credit the fence with the possibility that it saved my dogs from harm that could have killed them. Thanks to the fence, our dogs have almost three acres to run free and we never worry about them because the fence is so trustworthy. They are great dogs and thanks to your helping us train them, they mind really well. Your methods work producing dogs that are a pleasure to live with. Pet Stop’s support has been outstanding. Phil is very knowledgeable and offers great service. The install of the fence was done on time. Phil trained both dogs and within a couple of days, both dogs were trained to stay within the fence boundaries. The fence has performed as expected and we have never had an incident of the dogs leaving the property when the fence is activated. So, the dogs can run free and get exercise but are safe. We have also found that we can section off certain parts of the property to keep the dogs out of gardens and such, and as that has been necessary, Phil has been great about coming back to create other areas of limits for the dogs. Phil can be relied upon and does a great job, plus he is a lot of fun!!
We had our electronic fencing installed 6 years ago and are very pleased with the product. The installation and the training involved to teach the boundaries as well as the customer service is superior. Most importantly, our dogs have the freedom to exercise and play on our acre of land without us having to to worry about them venturing off. The down side of it all according to our dogs is that they now have to help with the chores.Joel and family
Our fence is doing fine, as is Kona. She doesn’t even test the limits. I always feel safe letting her outside. Doug
